July 2012 Goals

Oops! I forgot to post my goals in my last blog!

July 2012 Goals:
Speed work-1x/week
Run(including speed work)-3x's/week
Yoga-1x/week
Trail hike-3x's/month
Cross Train(including hiking)-2x's/week
Read and implement some ideas from-"Nancy Clark's Food for New Runner's" book
Post on blog-1x/week

  2. I know it seems like a lot! But I am already doing the running and yoga. I also have 2 of the 3 hikes planned so I am kinda cheating on setting the goals, LOL! The ones I will have prob with are the last 2. Reading the book will be a prob cause it is on my nook color and I tend to spend more time reading running blogs than books on it! Thanks for commenting!

  3. Hi Mindy! I just found your blog from the Sole Sisters FB page. I am so inspired by you! I just started running in May and did the walk/jog group with the Sole Sisters the first week in May. I think I'm going to join because you all seem like such an amazing group of women! I am so proud of you for all the races you have already done! Your goals seem really great. I would love to go hiking with you guys too! Hope to meet you sometime soon at a Sole Sister run :)

      Thanks for commenting. The Sole Sisters ARE an amazing group. I don't get to go to the Wed runs much because of work schedule but do go to a few Mon runs. I just love the FB updates and events they list. Such a great source of inspiration. I will list the hike as an event on the SS FB page and you are so welcome to come. It will be a hike but if there are flat open areas we might jog it a little. But mostly a hike. So glad you started running. It is one of the best things I have done for myself mentally and physically. Hope to meet you soon. Thanks!
